Where are you from? How long have you lived in Austin?
“I am a native Texan, and was born in El Paso. I have called the Austin area home for over 30 years.”
What do you love about living in Central Texas?
“To those who are making their home in our community, I would encourage you to experience all of the great outdoor activities that Austin has to offer. I have spent a lot of time enjoying the natural beauty that Austin and the Hill Country have to offer, and love knowing that no matter how fast Austin grows, there are treasures here that will always remain the same.”
Tell us about your home life…
“I have four wonderful children. I enjoy spending time with my extended family, being outdoors, and traveling between Texas and Colorado.”
How did you come to inspecting as a career choice? What is your previous professional experience or background?
”With over twelve years of experience in the residential and commercial construction fields, I began my career as a Professional Real Estate Home Inspector in 2004. My experience, coupled with my innate desire to help others ensure safety in their homes, has lent itself naturally to a career in the home inspection industry.”
What do you enjoy most about being an inspector/ working with Austin Property Inspections?
“I consider myself to be an educator, as well as an inspector. My focus is on educating the home buyer about the true condition of their property. I enjoy helping our clients understand the way their home works & knowing they will benefit from that knowledge. I have also trained each of our inspectors very thoroughly so that they can offer that same level of service to our clients. I have enjoyed the process of training them and encouraging their professional development.”  

Where are you from? How long have you lived in Austin?
“I moved to Austin in 2011. I moved from a small town in southeast, Texas.”
What do you love about living in Central Texas?
“Texas itself is awesome, but Austin is a whole thing of its own. It is full of adventurous outdoor activities and wonderful restaurants.”
How did you come to inspecting as a career choice? What is your previous professional experience or background?
“I have worked in the past in residential remodeling. I discovered home inspection and the importance of having them done. I was fortunate enough to have Austin Property Inspections hire me and train me as one of their inspectors.”
What do you enjoy most about working with Austin Property Inspections?
“It feel less like I'm working for a company and more like I'm working with family. What I enjoy the most about being a home inspector is learning the structural components of a home, and passing that knowledge on to my clients. I definitely look forward to spending many more years here in Austin, and watching Austin Property Inspections grow as a company.”

Where are you from? How long have you lived in Austin?  
I'm from Pamplona, Spain. I moved to Austin in 2012 in pursuit of my, at the time, girlfriend (now wife).
What do you love about living in Central Texas?  
I enjoy the weather and all of the outdoor activities provided all year long. I especially enjoy riding my mountain bike and there are great trails here! I love the live music scene and big festivals and events that take place here too. I'm pretty excited about the new soccer team coming to town in 2021!
How did you come to inspecting as a career choice? What is your previous professional experience or background?  
I'm married to an Architect and have helped with several projects. Coming from a place where construction methods are completely different I became very interested in the way houses are built here and started paying attention to all the little details. I saw first hand the importance of doing things properly and using proper materials. I have always been a detail-oriented person so the home inspection profession seemed to fit like a glove.  
What do you enjoy most about working with Austin Property Inspections? 
Gary has been a great mentor. I have learned so much from him, and continue to do so! I like the work environment provided and that everyday is different. Every house is different, every client is different. I enjoy facing the different scenarios and also being able to help educate others.
